Explore the difference a glass can make

On Wednesday 27th September 2017, The Royal Horticultural Halls will play host to ‘Journey of the Senses’: a comparative champagne glass tasting hosted with Maximilian Riedel.

Austrian-born glassmaker and businessman Maximilian Riedel is the 11th-generation CEO and President of world-renowned glassware manufacturer Riedel.  Established in 1756, Riedel is best known for its production of grape variety-specific glassware, designed to enhance types of wines based on the specific properties of individual grape varieties.

This special event will provide a unique opportunity to participate in a Riedel comparative champagne glass tasting, exploring the profound difference a glass can make as Maximilian Riedel personally guides guests through this sensory experience!

A popular venue for wine tastings, our versatile space will be specially adapted for Riedel, using a classroom-style format for maximum engagement and interaction. We can’t wait to welcome an expert of Riedel’s level into the Halls for the first time and play host to this truly unique and interesting experience.

Tickets start from less than £60 per person (when bought as a group ticket) and all participants will each take home, free of charge, a pair of Riedel Veritas Champagne glasses and a pair of Riedel Veritas New World Pinot Noir/Nebbiolo/Rosé Champagne glasses, worth £110.

VIP tickets for two are also available and include £220 worth of glasses, plus a Riedel Amadeo decanter, worth £495.

The tasting will be held at The Royal Horticultural Halls (Lindley Hall), Elverton Street, London SW1P 2QW on Wednesday 27th September 2017. Doors will open at 6pm with the tasting starting promptly at 7pm. Ages 18 and over only.

Bookings and more details can be found at www.riedel.co.uk.
